Knit and Crochet Blog Week Day 5: Something Different

I am very excited to be taking part in the KCBW-IV this year. It has been a lot of fun playing along with the WIP Wednesdays and FO Fridays, and I feel that this mass blogging has an interesting structure and topic.

This will be a series of several posts, everyday with a slightly different prompt.
Monday: The House Cup
Tuesday: A Mascot Project
Wednesday: Infographic
Thursday: Color Review
Friday: Something a Bit Different
Saturday: A Tool to Covet
Sunday: Looking Forward
This post is brought to you by my mad Haiku skills : )

Scrappy socks are done
I ran out of yarn again
Good thing I have more.

The scrap sock kick ends
it has been good fun to try
to use up small bits

Evenstar sitting
in a corner most unloved

  1. Your poems and your socks are fantastic!

  2. Sock and haiku love
Wish I had an FO post
    I will next Friday!

  3. I, too, love haiku
knitting socks soothes me as well
    your post makes me smile

  4. I love those socks. They don't look like scraps at all.

  5. Yayyyy! They're done! And now I also understand why a good portion of my blog roll this morning was in haiku. :)

  6. I'm better at limericks..
I wanted to knit new socks
but my yarn was well out of stock
    I grabbed my scrap bag
which was all that I had
and now I have socks that rock...

well, ok..I'm not really better at limericks!

  7. Oh I love your scrappy socks! I'm making some too!
